Ever since E3 was held in June 2010, we heard on the much anticipated The Legend of Zelda, The Way to Heaven Sword. Therefore, the Game Developers Conference, or GDC, in a word, the best solution in many fans of the series in March was excited as can be seen.
Nintendo has been using the Game Developers Conference to reveal new information Zelda for years. The newest Zelda, Spirit Tracks for Nintendo’s dual screen was shown at GDC and expectations were high compared to what Nintendo might reveal the sword to the sky.
As Nintendo’s speech began, there was no mention of the Zelda series to be. Hour presentation and suggested nothing, even in the series. But Nintendo knew that we were all getting worried about what was lost in the light and highlight a new trailer for motion control of the game
For those of you unfamiliar, The Legend of Zelda sword skyward will use motion controls full 1:01 to take advantage of features of the Nintendo Wii. The trailer is mainly focused on how the controls will be different, but also showed some new features to include in the game
Firstly, Nintendo really showed how Link (the hero of the Zelda games) will have to find new and creative ways to send the enemies in the game In the past, most enemies have been made only by cut with his sword until his death. Skyward sword in each enemy has its own weaknesses and players must find a way to use the motion controls and set-up 1:01 to defeat this enemy.
For example, there was a scene in the trailer where Link had intended to tear their bars an obstacle that the enemy was using. There was also a case in which Link has to maintain balance as the enemy approached him in a narrow passage.
Finally Nintendo teases us with the introduction of a new character in the trailer. This mysterious man is something like Vaati Zelda games past, but at the same time could be literally anyone. Friend or foe.
Anyway, when the sword skyward will be published later this year, which will certainly be one of the biggest sellers of the year. With E3 this year, just around the corner we expect more information soon.
